What We Manufacture

Exterior Component Packaging Manufacturer IndiaClass A Surface Protection, Automotive OEM from Vapi

Trizen Packaging manufactures automotive exterior component packaging for the complete range of exterior and body components — Class A surface protection packaging for painted and coated automotive exterior parts. Protective exterior automotive parts packaging from Vapi, Gujarat — thermoformed inserts and trays for bumpers, body side cladding, door mirror housings, spoilers, grille assemblies, exterior trim panels, and window sealing strips. ISO 9001:2015 certified, bulk OEM from our Vapi facility serving automotive manufacturers across India and internationally.

Automotive exterior components present a specific packaging challenge that does not exist in most other industries: Class A surface requirements. A Class A automotive surface is a painted or coated exterior surface that is visible on the finished vehicle — any contact mark, scratch, pressure deformation, or chemical contamination from packaging contact is a cosmetic warranty rejection. The packaging must achieve zero contact damage, not just minimal contact damage. This requires specific material selection, cavity geometry design, and inter-leaf protection that standard thermoformed packaging does not provide.

Pain Points We Solve

Three Problems Exterior Component Packaging Buyers Face

Class A Surface Damage — Painted and Coated Surfaces Cannot Tolerate Contact Marks
Problem: Standard thermoformed trays contact the painted face of exterior components — leaving pressure marks, micro-scratches, or deformation that fails the Class A cosmetic inspection at OEM receipt. Solution: Cavity geometry designed to contact only the non-painted reverse face or edges — the Class A painted surface floats free of all packaging contact. Confirmed from paint zone marking on the component drawing or physical sample.
Inter-Part Contact Damage When Exterior Components Are Stacked
Problem: Stacking multiple exterior components directly on each other — even with protective packaging — allows painted surfaces to touch during transit vibration, causing contact transfer damage. Solution: Foam inter-leaf protection between stacked exterior components as standard for all painted surface applications. Inter-leaf material confirmed from the surface coating specification.
Profile Deformation Under Pallet Stack Load
Problem: Exterior trim panels, spoilers, and cladding components are geometrically thin and flexible — pallet stack loads cause permanent profile deformation if the packaging does not provide full profile support. Solution: Thermoformed cavity geometry contoured to the full profile of the exterior component — providing distributed support across the complete part geometry, not point or edge contact.

Class A Zone Mapping — No Packaging Contact with Painted Surfaces

Before designing the cavity, the Class A zones (painted surfaces that must have zero contact) are mapped from the component drawing or confirmed from the physical part. The cavity is designed to contact only structural edges, mounting points, or reverse faces. Class A zone mapping is documented and confirmed with the customer before tooling.

Materials

Materials for Automotive Exterior Component Packaging

Material Application Key Property
PP Primary exterior component packaging material — bumpers, mirrors, trim panels No chemical reaction with automotive paint, cost-efficient OEM, profile geometry hold
PP + Foam Inter-Leaf Stacked exterior components with Class A surfaces — bumpers, body panels Foam inter-leaf prevents painted surface contact between stacked parts
HDPE Heavy exterior components requiring transit load resistance High impact resistance, profile geometry hold under pallet stack loads
Automotive exterior component packaging Gujarat — all tooling in-house at our Vapi, Gujarat facility. Class A surface protection packaging for automotive exterior components — from prototype approval to bulk OEM supply. Same cavity geometry, same material grade, same ISO 9001:2015 batch documentation per repeat production run.
Why Choose Trizen

Why Automotive Exterior Packaging Buyers Choose Trizen

Class A Zone Mapping — Confirmed Before Tooling Commitment
We confirm the Class A zones from the component drawing or physical sample before designing the tool. Cavity design documentation showing zero contact with Class A surfaces is produced before tooling and shared for customer approval. No tooling is committed before Class A protection is confirmed.
Custom Cavity from Physical Part — Designed to the Actual Component
Exterior automotive components have complex, individual profiles. We design cavity geometry from the physical component — not from adapted standard formats. Prototype tray produced in 7 to 14 business days and physically confirmed against the actual part before production tooling.
ISO 9001:2015 per Batch — Full Documentation for OEM Supplier Qualification
Batch records, material CoA, and dimensional inspection records per production batch. All documentation available for automotive OEM supplier qualification. Consistent supply from Vapi with the documentation standard that automotive Tier 1 programmes require.
Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked QuestionsAutomotive thermoforming packaging

Front and rear bumpers, door mirror housings, body side cladding, spoilers and rear lips, front grille assemblies, exterior trim panels and mouldings, and window sealing strips. All exterior component packaging designed with Class A surface protection — painted and coated automotive surfaces are never contacted by packaging material. ISO 9001:2015. Bulk OEM from Vapi, Gujarat.

A Class A surface is a painted or coated automotive exterior surface visible on the finished vehicle. Any contact mark, scratch, pressure deformation, or chemical contamination from packaging contact is a cosmetic warranty rejection at OEM receipt. Class A protection means zero contact between packaging material and the painted surface — the cavity geometry contacts only structural edges, mounting points, or reverse faces. The painted face floats free of all packaging contact throughout transit.

PP is the primary material — no chemical reaction with automotive paint systems, cost-efficient at OEM volumes, good profile geometry hold. Foam inter-leaf (integrated into the packaging system) is used between stacked exterior components with Class A surfaces. HDPE for heavy exterior components requiring transit load resistance. See our PP materials page for technical specifications.

Vapi, Gujarat is within the supply corridor for automotive clusters in Pune, Rajkot, Vadodara, Nashik, and Mumbai. All exterior component packaging tooling held in-house at Vapi. As an automotive exterior packaging manufacturer from India, Trizen Packaging serves both domestic OEM programmes and international export programmes — consistent supply from one facility with ISO 9001:2015 documentation.

Class A zones are mapped from the component technical drawing or confirmed by marking on the physical sample. We produce a cavity design document showing zero contact with all Class A zones, shared with the customer for approval before tooling is committed. This confirmation step is mandatory — no external component packaging tooling is made without Class A zone approval.

Prototype: 7 to 14 business days from physical component sample. MOQ from 500 units. Sustained OEM from 5,000 units per run. ISO 9001:2015 batch documentation per production run.

Foam inter-leaf is placed between each stacked exterior component — the foam sheet prevents direct painted-surface-to-painted-surface contact during transit vibration. Inter-leaf material (foam grade and thickness) is confirmed from the surface coating type: soft foam for standard automotive paint, firmer foam for textured surfaces, film for plated surfaces. Inter-leaf is supplied as part of the packaging system.

Yes. We manufacture both exterior component packaging (Class A surface protection) and interior fittings packaging for the same automotive programme. The two packaging types are designed from different requirements — exterior focuses on Class A surface protection, interior focuses on soft-touch material and finish protection. Both from the same Vapi facility with the same ISO 9001:2015 documentation standard.
